Career & Professional Identity

2020 has altered the way that businesses operate.  Organizations have had to reexamine how they move forward, maintain work-life balance, and encourage the talents and abilities of their employees.  

Our understanding of work-life integration and the activation of the whole person’s skills, abilities and talents at work have shifted how organizations engage their workforce in 2020. 

Gallup reports that only 1/3rd of employees are engaged in their vocational work – leaving half of employees disengaged in their workplace and .  This leaves half of all employees disengaged in their work and 15% - to 20% actively disengaged in their work.

The times when employees would loyally stay with a company for 30 years have faded.

Employees now stay with the same company less than 5 years and often have 12 different careers in their lifetime.

Session 4 focuses on the threads that align your work to your personal and professional values.

In this session we will look for the thread that aligns your work to your personal and professional values. 

We will look at trustworthy personality tests to support your self-discovery and career development.  We will explore questions such as:

·      Who modeled work ethics for you as a child? 

·      Are these values you model today?

·      What unique skills and passion do you bring to your work- life integration? 

·      What are your driving values? 

·      If you could design your work – what would your career be? 

·      How would it be different from your current work / career path?
