Developing a Global Worldview

Your worldview is your philosophy on life.  It develops from the beginning of our days as children and is a malleable conception of the world that can grow and change our whole life.

Whether you are in a small town or jetting around the globe, your worldview is your philosophy on life.

Your worldview directly and indirectly shapes you as an individual leader, guides  your family values, and is the defining force behind what activities you choose to do.  It influences your educational goals, professional pursuits, political preferences, and spiritual values.

In session 5, we help you understand the lenses through which you see the world.

We will utilize reflective questions to help you better understand your worldview, as well as how that affects how you interact with others.

We will explore your purpose for serving your community and your cultural, spiritual and social values.  Your worldview helps define your political views, your drive for educational and professional pursuits and how you relate to your world, however that looks in your life.   We will explore your worldview through reflective questions such as:

·      What are three philosophical quotes or stories that shape your purpose in life?

·      What does it mean to serve and care for other people?

·      Imagine yourself engaging in an activity that nurtures other people.  What are you creating in that moment?

·      How do you cultivate human connection, purpose, and meaning?
