Cultivating Community Leadership

Our community serves as another important setting where we identify characteristics of leaders. It is within our communities that we first identify the characteristics of leaders.

The way we view leadership or lead it ourselves through.  Community leadership includes sports and social teams to, volunteer and advocacy work influences how we lead in other settings.

How we interact with our community also highlights the one thing we take with us wherever we go – our personal brand.  What do you think your branding looks like where you live?  Why is that even important?

Our third session focuses on identifying and cultivating your personal brand.  and for some our community activism begins to blend with our professional work.  Our community begins to see you as a leader in your community as you attend Chamber of Commerce events and become known in your community for your personal brand.

We will use self-reflection to help you understand your brand by:

·      Identifying important facts about yourself.

·      Uncovering small and large accomplishments or competencies you’ve developed.

·         Recording your aspirations: Write down 3 or 4 important facts about yourself. What are the important accomplishments you have achieved or competencies you have developed in your life?

·      What 3 or 4 important aspirations, areas of interest, or undeveloped talents you want to focus on and grow.would you like to place more focus on in your future journey

·      Understanding who makes up your community , and the expectations or hopes they have for your future.

·      Gaining insight from others with different what are their highest hopes in regard to your future journey? Choose three people with different perspectives on your life and exploring their feedback on your vision for your future.

Your personal brand encompasses the way you present yourself to the world.

In this session, we will help you align what the world sees with the vision and mission you have for your future. By defining your vision to yourself, you will better be able to articulate how you can serve your community to your full potential. In this session we will help you craft or define your personal brand.  We will work together to identify your mission statement, your vision for the future and your values as an individual and how it relates to serving your community.
